22 years of practice and teaching yoga, including throughout pregnancies, births, postpartums and monthly cycles, has organically developed into a feminine and nurturing approach to yoga that I share through the Yogamamma platform.

Having had four children I have experienced the incredible value and joy of yoga through pregnancy and birth, and in reclaiming a healthy post-baby body in a safe and gentle way. I am forever exploring the continuous benefits of all aspects of yoga and mindfulness in motherhood and family life.

More than anything, my children and my continuous work with yoga for women’s health and wellbeing has taught me the importance of a fluid, flexibleand truthful practice. As a result I teach yoga that is sensitive to and supports women’s bodies, experiences and journey. This approach has not only allowed me to keep my practice going through life changes and transitions, but has helped me embrace and handle life in the same way.

I have studied two years of Iyengar yoga and completed 200-hrs of Hatha training at Yogacampus, London, later specialising in yoga as therapy, pregnancy yoga and mama/baby yoga with my UK teachers Erika Tourell and Uma Dinsmore-Tuli.

In London I was teaching at Triyoga, The Life Centre and The Special Yoga Centre, and in Oslo I have been part of HiYoga since its start in 2015. I also teach charity classes, workshops, retreats and have designed my own pregnancy yoga teacher training. I am recognised as Yoga Elder with more than 5000 teaching hours by The Independent Yoga Network.

I have a BA in Sociology and Communication from Goldsmith’s University in London, and Creative Leadership and Social Innovation from the KaosPilots in Denmark. I have worked as a freelance journalist, design advisor, brand manager and director of charitable projects and events in Sarajevo.
